How to make a button for your blog

Before we begin, to make my button I use paintshop and I use photobucket to host my images ….So I will use that in my tutorial..... First using Paint Shop, click file and select new, the box shown below will appear ….The setting to use are width 125px, height 125px, resolution 100.000.  Choose what color to make your background........ I used white

Then add whatever you want your button to look like and save as a jpg

Open up a photobucket account or any other site where you can upload your image...........

Once your image is uploaded, go to your blog design page and click "add a new gadget".
Then add an html box as shown below.
(click on images to make them larger)

Once you click "htlm gadget", a box will come up ....Im the box copy and paste the code below

Once code is pasted, place your blog url in between the  " " where it tells you YOUR BLOG URL HERE ......make sure its in between the 2 quote marks and you have to paste it in 2 places

Then go to photo bucket and at the bottom of the image you are using for your button, copy the direct link as shown in the image below:

Once copied, paste that direct link into the code above in the 2 places where it tells you DIRECT LINK FROM PHOTOBUCKET IMAGE HERE......Again make sure its between the quote parts

Once all this is done hit save and view your blog ...Your buttom will show up .....You can then go back to design and place the button gadget where you want it on your blog
